IIT JEE

The Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) are among the most prestigious engineering institutions in India, and the IIT Joint Entrance Examination (IIT JEE) is the entrance exam used for admission to these institutes. The exam is conducted in two stages:

1. JEE Main

  • Purpose: JEE Main is the first level of the exam. It serves as an entrance exam for various undergraduate engineering programs in IITs, National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and other centrally funded technical institutions.
  • Subjects: The exam covers three main subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • Pattern:
    • It consists of two papers: Paper 1 (for B.Tech/B.E.) and Paper 2 (for B.Arch/B.Planning).
    • Paper 1 is conducted in a computer-based format and consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and numerical-based questions.
